Summers almost over!!

I know that we all try not to think about it, but the fact is that there is about a week left of summer! My school starts September 6. I want to wear this cool Roxy shirt, but I'm not sure. My little sis is gonna start first grade, and she's scared that she'll get too much homework. Ha!

Writing a Book

I have decided that since J.K. Rowlings series is done, some other book will have to replace it, (if that is possible!). I've decided that I will be the author of that book! It's actually coming along okay so far, I might post it when I am done. Wish me Luck!!!

My Fave Singer

This is my favorite singer, Avril Lavigne, (which is a lot to say due to my love of music!) She wants an AL clothing line. I hope she gets it, I would so wear her clothes!

School

I just read my new schools handbook cover to cover, (33 pgs.), and I am scared. My principal is supposed to be the meanest in town. But it's how he wrote the handbook that freaks me out. For example, "A field trip is just like a normal school day, except you are learning in a different place," and " Three tardies and you get a detention". AAAAAAAH!!!

Camping

Two nights ago I was stuck "camping' with my family. We brought a tent and pancake mix one mile away to a local campground and set up. Once I got into my sleeping bag the (almost) fun ended. the ground under the tent was hard and lumpy, but eventually I got to sleep. When I woke up at four in the morning, I heard the rain pelting the tent. the ground under me was cold and damp. Then I realised how cold I was. Me+thin fleece sleeping bag+rain=COLD!!! We gave in and drove home where we were gonna stay until sundown and do it again, but we voted and since it was three to my dad, he went and took down camp. Last night I slept in my bed, and never have I been more grateful for a mattress, thick bedding, and insulation!!!
